I was inspired to post this outfit by xtina’s post on Musings about dramatic fashion. Her post featured many dramatic sunglasses, so I figured I would post my sort of impractical Chanel shades. This is my second pair, after I accidentally left my first pair in a restroom on campus. When I ran back a few minutes later they were gone! So, someone made off with my $500 glasses! I was so heartbroken and had to have them again. I also thought this would be a good time to get a proper shot of my jumpsuit and Pour La Victoire heels! What do you think? Thanks for reading!

Sunny Day
Today was really sunny and rather warm, so I figured I should go for a casual look as I go run errands and have lunch. Plaid shirts are still all over the place, Evans and Dorothy Perkins have some particularly cute ones. Pair one with some thick heels to dress it up a bit or wear some flats and go on a picnic. Don’t forget your cute sunglasses!

Animal Print Remix
Today I’m wearing this animal print dress as a top. Since the material is thin and the dress is banded, it was very easy to just fold it in. If you are hesitant to wear a print, a short jacket can be a good way to balance one. I love these Miu Miu wedges, they are so sleek and comfortable considering the height. See a picture of the heels here.
I also want to introduce my kitty, Mittens. She’s my baby! I think she likes posing too.
Thanks for stopping by—I love my readers!

Mint & Sugar
One of my favorite color combinations is mint and pink. I wore this to have lunch at the Rotunda in San Francisco, which is a restaurant on top of Neiman Marcus that overlooks Union Square. The food and view make for a wonderful afternoon in the city.
The last time I featured this skirt, I had paired it with a leather jacket. Here, next to another pastel color, it looks even more like some kind of cupcake—so cute. I wish I had pulled the skirt down a little in this picture since it looks a bit loose on one side, but normally the fit is great. I love this sweet outfit. What do you think?
Skirt: Dorothy Perkins, Sweater: Gap, Flats: Dior
I’m thinking about ways to improve my blog and one thing I must do is get a new camera. This one is ok but the pictures aren’t as clear as I’d like them. If you have suggestions (for cameras or blog content), let me know! Thanks for reading and commenting! c:
